Which flowers press well?

The most FAQ- which flowers press well?

I get asked this every week & it’s so hard to answer as there are A LOT of amazing flowers out there to name and list!

Each bouquet is unique so choose an amazing florist (I’m always happy to help with recommending someone) and you will have a beautiful frame!

I have compiled a little list of my favourite seasonal flowers to press below so I hope this helps.

SUMMER
Peonies (early Summer), dahlia, zinnia, miniature roses, garden roses, achillea, Queens lace, foxglove, delphinium, limonium, roses, snapdragon, sunflower, alstroemeria, statice, hydrangea, phlox, astrantia, daisy, scabiosa (Fama white is a fav), cosmos, tweedia (blue), jasmine, sweet pea, rudbeckia, echinacea, gypsophila, veronica.

WINTER

Anemone, hellebore, orchid, protea, blushing bride, manuka, roses, miniature roses, pieris, wattle, rice flower.

And the list goes on!

What flowers don’t press well might be an easier question to answer!

  • Banksia, chrysantheums (unless small and dark coloured), large white and blush dahlias, white tropical flowers, white lisianthus & white stock.

I hope that helps but I’m always here to answer any questions. Happy wedding planning!
